3 Ways To Overcome Procrastination

Procrastination is the bane of our existence. We may understand the tasks we should be doing, but we may not feel like doing it. It's easy to put off undesirable tasks for a later date, but we may end up feeling tired, frustrated, and resentful if we are unable to see positive outcomes. Here are the top 3 ways to crush procrastination and reach your goals!

  1. Focus: Find 15-minutes in the morning to review your calendar and prioritize your day. Pick one block in that day and outline one specific ACTION you can take towards your goal. Complete the task and log your productivity.

  1. Face Your Giant: We may postpone taking necessary steps to realize our goal because there are areas of learning that are new to us. COVID-19 forced millions to transition from face-to-face meetings to an online format. Many entrepreneurs are facing the challenge of adapting their business online. The thought of setting up a virtual meeting, sharing information on social media, and asking a fee for a new service or product may seem daunting. One way to face the elephant in the room is to acknowledge the FEAR of this new normal and its impact on our experience. 3. Set a 60-day goal: I love sharing my Actions, Intentions, and Outcomes strategies with my clients. For non-linear individuals, outlining pragmatic outcomes is necessary for seeing results. I love to ask myself," What are the revenue goals I desire in the next 60 days?" Once I set this goal, I then figure out how many specific Actions I need to take to reach that goal. Establishing clear outcomes is a great way to alter the direction of our goals by having a clear compass of what steps we need to take to get there.
