Five-Steps to Upgrade Your Motivation During the Holidays

The National Alliance on Mental Health Awareness reported that more than 40% of adults have levels of anxiety and stress around the holiday period. For leaders and entrepreneurs, the pressures of family responsibilities, financial strain, and the up and down nature of the business can leave many weary during this time of year.

In addition to that, Statista reported that more than 4.4 million individuals left their jobs during the Great Resignation. This suggests that if we want to have a strong 2022 that we are going to have to develop the skills necessary to persist in these challenging times. Individual persistence has a lot to do with the level of confidence we have with striving towards new goals. In my 5-year research of persistence, I was amazed at just how our execution and our ability to move forward despite our circumstances can catapult or restrain our goal attainment.

What do many families talk about during the holidays?

  1. Finances

  2. Career Change

  3. Happiness

  4. Weight Loss

I want you to experience hope, joy, wellness, and radical action as the holiday period ensues. From now until the new year, you can be sure that I will be challenging you to progress towards your personal and professional goals.

Five Steps to Elevate Your Motivation

Step One: Be Honest About Your Finances:

Take inventory of your finances. I love Suze Orman's Women and Money and Suze Carder's Power Your Profits. Susie Carder is not only my business coach and friend but someone passionate about helping entrepreneurs expand their businesses to 8 figures and beyond. Use a tool like Freedom Debt to make a plan to lower debt that fits your budget.

Step Two: Upgrade Your Momentum because Tomorrow Can't Wait

I wrote Tomorrow Can't Wait to help individuals overcome procrastination that can easily occur due to family obligations, demanding schedules, and personal set back. This 40-day self-help book provides you with tools to overcome negative thinking and self-limiting beliefs. There are Questions for Growth at the end of each chapter. During the holiday season, I am launching a book club for leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts interested in elevating their goals in 2022. When you join my book club today for only $129, you receive a direct invite to join our online author series that begins on December 4th, 2021.
